Dolphins lame-duck coach
The Dolphins jumped the gun by extending Joe Philbin’s contract as coach after their victory over Minnesota. Had they waited until the season was over, they could have had their choice of Rex Ryan, John Fox, Doug Marrone and maybe Jim Harbaugh, too, for a new coach. They let Ryan go to their rival Bills, Fox to the Bears and now we have a lame-duck coach.
If he doesn’t make the playoffs he will be gone. Same old Dolphins.
