Wasted surplus
Re the Jan. 29 article With $1B surplus, Scott seeks tax cuts: What hasn’t been spent on education? What hasn’t been spent on infrastructure improvements? What hasn’t been spent on protecting fresh water resources? Not to mention outrageous home insurance rates.
Robbing citizens of necessary investments does not equate to a surplus. The governor’s budget is analogous to not doing routine maintenance on your house or car. Eventually, it comes around to bite you.
