Stop Cuba negotiations
The United States imposed the embargo on Cuba in 1961 in retaliation for Fidel Castro’s seizure of many American-owned businesses, farms and houses worth millions.
Therefore, it is extreme chutzpah for Raúl Castro to now demand that the United States pay Cuba millions to reimburse Cuba for the losses that it suffered from the embargo. That demand should be a signal to President Obama to withdraw from any negotiations with Cuba.
