Clinton = Trump win

By nominating Hillary Clinton, the Democratic Party may have given Donald Trump a clear running path to become the next president.

Of course, the Democratic National Convention did not have any other choice but to support her. There was no one else in the party more qualified than she is.

The speeches by those who have everything to gain were well written and well presented. However, they only served to bash Trump. When they were not bashing Trump, they were laden with wonderful language encompassing the usual promises and platitudes devoid of real substance.

Those speaking offered no concrete programs to assure the security of our great nation, to help the poor and downtrodden, to manage immigrants, to help veterans, to control the proliferation of guns on our streets, to provide tax relief to middle-class America, to keep jobs in America and so on.

My prediction is that there will be no changes in the United States when Clinton is elected president. Same old, same old. Being beholden to her wealthy donors will completely dominate her tenure.

Finally, there is an element of truth in being concerned about Trump, but in reality he might just be the one to make America great again.
