Doesn’t the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation have better things to do than to harass Donald Van Buren and his alligator, Gwendolyn?

Mr. Van Buren had to go through this scrutiny in 1994. He and Gwendolyn have broken no laws. He won his court battle. It’s 22 years later.

Is he going to have to go through another court battle?

How long do alligators live, anyway? The internet says between 30 and 50 years and Gwendolyn is already 47.

Shame on the neighbors who should be minding their own business.

Keep Big Brother out of our lives. This story would be heartbreaking to me if they force Van Buren to give up his alligator.

Can’t we just mind our own business instead of trying to mind everyone else’s.
