Business with Cuba
It defies logic and a wise appreciation of potential losses for any foreign investor to even think about doing business with the Castro family under present conditions. I suggest that investors and creditors to tread lightly before dipping a toe into the Castros’s perilous business waters.
Why not invest in other Caribbean islands where the rule of law is valued, and where there are no foreign investors serving time in prison? For instance, the Jamaica Chamber of Commerce (info@jamaicachamber.org.jm), the National Puerto Rican Chamber of Commerce (info@NPRChamber.org), the Costa Rican-American Chamber of Commerce (chamber@amcham.co.cr), and the North American-Chilean Chamber of Commerce (info@nacchamber.com)
I hope that this letter will serve to save someone future grief.
