Bernie Sanders’ supporters
Re the June 27 story Is America ready for all-female ticket?: No, it’s not. But not because Hillary Clinton and Elizabeth Warren would be running mates, but rather because the ticket would have been created out of desperation to attract Bernie Sanders’ supporters. But it would backfire.
Sanders’ supporters are not stupid. We like his honesty and positions on relevant issues. We are disappointed that Warren did not support Sanders, which could have helped him. She has become Clinton’s puppet to insult Donald Trump. A woman of her stature did not need to get involved in this hypocritical stunt.
I cannot vote for Clinton or a lunatic like Trump. This country is in a quandary created by Republicans, and this is the consequences of their actions.
