Blindsiding Pam Bondi

In times of crisis all Americans should unite. Which leads me to my comment on CNN commentator Anderson Cooper blindsiding Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi during their recent television interview.

While she detailed what has been done to facilitate aid to Orlando after the Pulse nightclub massacre, he took his shot, saying that it was the first time she tried to help gays.

Her job is to uphold our laws. She upheld them when gay marriage was not allowed, and she will uphold them now that it is legal.

Her Twitter feed is her personnel business. If she didn’t comment on Gay Pride Month, it’s her right to do so.

Cooper took a cheap shot and should have saved his comment for another day when the crisis was under control.
