Executive orders
Recently I’ve heard John Boehner, Marco Rubio and other Republicans declare that the executive actions signed by the president are either illegal or a step in the direction of an imperial presidency.
In retrospect, Abraham Lincoln would be quite surprised to learn that he should not have issued, not one, but two Emancipation Proclamations.
