Inactive Congress

On Monday, the U.S. Senate failed to approve any of the four gun-control bills just eight days after the Orlando tragedy. The votes weren’t even close.

Democrats and Republicans blamed each other for the failed measures but it doesn’t matter. Both parties share the blame and shame for their inaction.

If the most horrific act of violence in modern U.S. history was not enough to convince enough representatives to show some common sense and decency to do something, then it’s time for voters to show their anger and disgust and vote them out of office.
