Sanders’ security
I find it ironic that Sen. Bernie Sanders, the self-proclaimed champion of the working class, is still allowing taxpayers to fund his 24-hour Secret Service detail to the tune of $38,000 a day.
The primaries have ended, and Hillary Clinton is the Democratic Party’s presumptive nominee. Why is he, of all people, willing to use federal resources that may be otherwise directed toward more effective causes?
