Kudos to Orlando emergency medical staff

Kudos and bravo to the Orlando Regional Medical Trauma Center for their excellent handling of the mass casualty horror that fell in their lap following the mass shooting at Pulse nightclub in Orlando.

As a retired U.S. Army Medical Officer with some degree of experience in drills for mass casualty situations, I can only applaud the excellent and efficient triage and medical/surgical trauma care that the physicians, nurses and all other personnel of that facility provided the victims.

One or two gun shot wound and/or stabbings can be routine for a busy civilian emergency room. To care for more than 50 wounded victims in one night in civilian centers is awesome. Hats off for the Orlando Trauma Center!
