Don’t give mass killers a goal

I can understand the media’s need to attract readers with superlatives, such as, “worst shooting” or “worst mass shooting.” But I think that somewhere out there is a terrorist or deranged mind thinking: “I can do better.”

Surely there must be some way to achieve the attraction without the glorification that could motivate a greater tragedy.
