Stopping terrorists
While numb from watching reports of the carnage in Orlando, and, once again, perhaps some soul searching is in order.
it’s abundantly clear that most of our elected representatives in Washington have done nothing to reel in easy access to guns by closing loopholes for guns buyers on watch lists or insisting on an outright ban on assault weapons.
Why should they ? As long their constituents keeping voting them back into office, why bother tackling the gun issue at all? But we can make sure our opinions count in this year’s elections by making the gun issue priority No. 1.
