School-bus danger
On television there is a public service announcement with a policeman issuing a ticket to a man driving without his seat belt on.
The policeman says that seat-belt laws are enforced because in life we don’t get a second chance. So why is it OK for children on school buses not to wear them. Seat belts aren’t provided on the buses.
It costs approximately $7,000 a bus to install them.
What is wrong with our mayors, governors and school boards? If citizens need to take action because no one else will, I will be the firstto come up with $7,000 to save the lives of the first school bus full of kids.
