Long TSA lines
The lines at the airport are a major problem for tourism in South Florida. The partial solution is simple and that is to encourage passengers to check luggage rather than carrying the luggage aboard.
Have all airlines charge $25 for luggage as part of their ticket price without regard to how many pieces are checked.
If a passenger carries a piece of luggage aboard, they are charged $35.
Since it does not cost me to check luggage in, I am more likely to not carry-on any luggage.
The TSA lines would move much quicker if passengers did not have luggage to be examined.
