Reciprocal regrets?

President Obama visited Hiroshima, the site of the first atomic bombing in 1945. He expressed regrets but made no apology. I would now like to see Prime Minister Abe of Japan visit Pearl Harbor this coming Dec. 7 and express regrets for his country’s sneak attack that killed thousands of Americans and began a series of events that eventually led to the bombing of Hiroshima.

In 1941 Japan sowed the wind. It reaped the whirlwind.
