Businessman Trump

Re the May 11 letter by Renee Arazie, Elect a businessman: The last “businessman” to win the White House was Herbert Hoover, whose foolish economic policies led to the Great Depression.

While middle-class wages have remained stagnant over the past decade or so, readers should be reminded that it is the GOP that refuses to pass any bill that includes a raise in those wages.

In fact, Donald Trump has said, numerous times, that wages were too high in America. Next, while Arazie ranted about healthcare costs rising under Obamacare, they rose much more slowly than before Obamacare was instituted.

Clear-thinking Americans should reject such reasoning for wanting Trump as our next president. Simply, with Trump, there is no there there.
