Miami Beach growth
Re the May 18 letter, Miami Beach keeps it clean: No, Mr. City Manager, the nose knows. Miami Beach stinks. Inadequate salt-corroded sewers cannot cope and the pumps are not working properly, either.
Still, they build more on this brittle porous limestone. A marina project with twin towers at 300 Alton Road and a 300' transit hub tower at Fifth Street and Alton Road are now proposed in gridlocked South Beach. Whats up with that?
