Hillary as VP
There is a sure method for the Democratic Party to defeat Donald Trump.
This proposal requires Hillary Clinton to briefly set aside personal aspirations, ego, and title to become Bernie Sanders’ vice president.
Her choice would be the ultimate act of patriotism before persona. But why would and should she do that?
By including all of Sanders’ voters plus all of Clinton's voters, the result is clear: Donald Trump is soundly defeated.
The Democrats are unlikely to win with Clinton at the top of the ticket. However, realistically in an 8-year presidential cycle Sanders would not be a 78-year-old candidate in 2020.
Instead, he would step aside for Hillary to win the second term. By then, if the Democrats haven’t brought about a revived middle class, then it would not win in 2020 regardless.
