Peddling stereotypes

So sorry to read in the Jan. 18 Other Views column, Boomer candidates running out of steam, that Mike Abrams is out of fresh ideas and that he assumes this applies to everyone in his age group.

But people in an age group can't be lumped together and dismissed any more than people who share an ethnic background, gender or religious persuasion.

I continue to find new solutions to new problems in my life and work every day, despite the fact that I was born between certain dates.

Maybe if people stopped peddling stereotypes we could solve more problems.
