Sanders should quit

Steven Urdegar’s May 8 letter, Sanders’ disservice makes a lot of sense. Sanders’ mission in life is for citizens to get money without working for it, just like he did. He was a virtual unknown before he became a presidential candidate.

Except for his socialist and radical activities, he worked part time as a carpenter in Vermont before becoming an elected official. His Senate career is unremarkable, and it is distressing that such a large part of the population gets excited from his speeches and buys into the illusion that his promises could materialize. I agree that change is needed, but it should be created by a candidate with a proven track record of talent and experience. Sanders needs to accept defeat and quit the race.
