Sanders vs. Clinton
Bernie Sanders’ victory over Hillary Clinton in the Indiana primary on May 3 has given his multitude of supporters an undeserving high hope.
It is a fact: Sanders cannot overtake Clinton’s lead in delegates, and she will become the Democratic nominee. Sanders does a disservice to his supporters and the Democratic Party by refusing to exit gracefully and stand behind Clinton to ensure another historic Democratic victory in November.
Preventing the election of Donald Trump should be every Democrat and independent voter’s ultimate goal, and Sanders has lost sight of this. At this point in the election, Donald Trump’s best political friend and secret weapon is Bernie Sanders.
