The Golan Heights
Re the April 18 article Netanyahu: Israel will never withdraw from the Golan Heights:
Hypocriticial is the word for Europe and the United Nations. On Israel’s northern border are the Golan Heights, conquered in 1967 and annexed by Israel in 1981. For decades Syria had used these barren lands as the high ground to terrorize the peaceful Israeli farm lands just below.
The appeasers in the U.N. want Israel to give them back to Syria? Not bloody likely. Conquerors keep what they conquer.
