Buy cars made in America
In his April 10 letter, Bill Silver expressed his intention not to buy a Ford product because the manufacturer plans to build an assembly plant in Mexico and create 2,800 jobs there.
I would advise Silver to consider buying the popular Nissan Altima, a sedan, among other models, that is manufactured in Tennessee.
He could also upgrade to more luxurious cars such as the Mercedes GLE series that are practical SUVs. These are assembled on American soil mostly for domestic consumption.
Both Nissan (Japan) and Mercedes-Benz (Germany) employ thousands of Americans.
