War causes suffering
The April 12 article Kerry visits Hiroshima site, made me angry and sad.
What did writer Bradley Klapper mean in saying that many Americans believe the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki were justified and hastened the end of the World War II? Did he mean that the many are a small minority and clearly misinformed? Did he express his perspective of what people believe today? Has he ever read any history of World War II?
I remember Dec. 7, 1941. A significant number us remember stories of the Pacific Campaign and the wars in Europe, Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan, and Iraq.
They experienced the pain, suffering and worry caused by these events. Does Klapper believe them to have been a picnic?
