Cuba travel alternatives
Fabiola Santiago’s column about Carnival Corp. justifying discriminating against Cuban-born Americans who will not be able to cruise to Cuba on Carnival’s ships is a bunch of goobledygook.
For years, Cubans have been able to travel to Cuba while American-born people could not. I never heard any outcry over that.
By Santiago’s reasoning, Cubans should have refused to travel to Cuba until American-born people were allowed to go.
Now that the shoe is on the other foot and the preferential treatment is over, she’s going to whine about it? She can still travel to Cuba, just not on a cruise ship. It will change. Get over it.
