Boring campaigns

In his April 11 column, She is relentless, inevitable — and doesn't resonate, Michael Gerson says that Hillary Clinton doesn't resonate with voters. We have become so jaded that our candidates must entertain us: Donald Trump and Ted Cruz are outrageous and provocative, and Bernie Sanders promises a revolution.

Like Jeb Bush, who was the most qualified of the Republican candidates (although I would not have supported him), Clinton has the disadvantage of being infinitely more experienced and qualified than the all the rest.

How utterly boring!
