Congress’ crime bill

I enjoy Leonard Pitts’ columns, but I feel the April 13 column, Bill’s bad response about his bad law, is one that needs some clarification.

The 1994 Crime Bill wasn’t Bill Clinton’s, it was Congress’ bill. Clinton signed it after a majority of Democrats voted for it, including more than half of the Black Caucus and Bernie Sanders.
