Adrienne Arsht
Remember 10 years ago when our beautiful performing arts center downtown opened as the Carnival Center for the Performing Arts? Shortly after, the name was changed to the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts.
In the April 8 Herald supplement, Indulge, there was a wonderful article about Adrienne Arsht and all she has done for not just our community but also many others. She’s a generous, unpretentious and elegant example. Wouldn’t it be nice if the Performing Arts Center’s name was once again changed to represent her classy persona to simply “The Adrienne.”
