Pet obituaries
Letter writer Cesar Sastre has some nerve in saying pets should not be memorialized in the human obituary section. Why not?
I felt great sympathy for Snuggles’ family. They thought enough of the dog to pay for an obit. Some people, myself included, receive great comfort from a pet. Trust that if, heaven forbid, my dog dies, I, too, will place his obituary in the Miami Herald, whatever the cost. Animals touch lives in many ways.
