Dysfunctional talk
Look no further than Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, my congressional representative, if you want to see why the federal government is so dysfunctional.
For her to say President Obama is “of no consequence to us” is astonishing at a time when we should be building political bridges. She also is quite wrong — he is of tremendous consequence, certainly as far as Cuba is concerned, and it is foolish to assert otherwise.
