Kudos to Florida Grand Opera
Bravo to Susan Danis, the Florida Grand Opera and its underwriters for the courage to bring to Miami the relatively unknown Weinberg opera, The Passenger, about the Holocaust.
It was opera to perfection — staging, voices, orchestra, scenery and lighting. Three hours plus just whizzed by. This performance should be required viewing for all in these days of renewed ethnic hatred.
