The Cuban embargo worked
If the Cuban embargo did not work, why is the Cuban regime begging for the embargo to be lifted? Of course it worked!
It converted Cuba into the largest Communist museum in the world. The “Cuba si, Yankees no” chanting in the Plaza José Martí has been long gone since the Soviet Union collapsed.
Today, Cubans roam through the streets of Havana with American flags “begging Obama to lift the embargo.”
If isolation and the embargo did not work, why does the Obama administration insist on tougher economic sanctions and isolation of North Korea, Iran, Syria and other countries.
Sanctions do not work when this president fails to enforce the law and stand by its words.
If the Cuban embargo had been enforced, we would not be talking about it today
