Tricks on Trump
Donald Trump’s rejection of a contested Republican convention, should he fail to win an outright majority of delegates, exposes a serious hypocrisy. In business — bankruptcy protection, for example — he takes great pride in exploiting every legal loophole to protect his interests.
In the primaries — Florida, for example — he is happy to comply with the undemocratic rule that awards him all the delegates with only a plurality of the votes. How, then, can he cry unfair when his political opponents employ similar legal technicalities in protecting their interests?
