Snarled traffic

It was 8:30 Sunday morning, and I was in standstill traffic trying to get to I-95. Apparently there was a race, and no one told the residents of the Biscayne corridor about it. There was no advance notice, and there were no signs. At 9 a.m., sitting four blocks north, I gave up my attempt to reach the highway and have forfeited the fee for a lesson I could never make.

Again I am reminded that Miami will never be one of the great cities.
