Disrespected flag

While I’ve become accustomed to U.S. Post Office property not being maintained to minimum standards, words cannot describe my feelings when I saw the American flag displayed in front of the North Miami Beach Post Office during my visit on March 15.

The flag was torn and tattered to the extent it was easy to see it had been in less than appropriate condition for quite a long time. The post office should be admonished for such blatant disregard for the symbol of our great country.
