Why Rubio lost
The pundit class are wringing their hands trying too understand what happened to Senator Marco Rubio’s presidential campaign bid.
The answer has been obvious for a long time to anyone familiar with Florida politics: The Gang of Eight betrayal, and Mr. Rubio’s failure to humble himself and simply apologize for it rather than his maladroit attempts to obfuscate. That’s it.
Millions of dollars could have been saved — and perhaps his political career — by just recognizing this basic truth.
