As a Miami Beach business owner, I’m delighted to see our city’s enthusiasm and passion for the recent North Beach charrette process and future of the neighborhood.
When we purchased our business nearly two decades ago, our goal was to improve the quality of life for residents. But, for years now, North Beach has been dormant, affecting the success and growth of businesses in the area.
We need responsible, mixed-use developments to help jolt our local economy.
This will ultimately attract daytime and pedestrian activity to North Beach to help retail outlets and restaurants, such as ours, remain viable. It would also create a safer environment for residents, visitors and customers.
We’ve waited long enough.
Now is the time for us to support investment in the future of North Beach, helping to improve the quality of life for all who live and work in the area.
