I cried while reading the March 1 story After 67 years of marriage, a celebration of love, an account of the renewal of vows of Vito and Selma Tripi and their celebration of 67 years of love under the artistic eye of “wedding planner” and Life Enrichment Director, Zita Wilensky, at Palm Gardens in Aventura.
It was charming! It was sincere! It was cinemagraphic!
It was, I hope, the first of many articles on love, virtue, lives lived well and the triumphs in aging. It would make a radiant counterpoint to the darkness and discouragement that news reporting often delivers.
There were inspiring words of the clergymen in attendance, and photos of Selma in lace with her bridesmaids in red.
