Presidential job

A very important election is coming up in November. This is not a popularity contest. The winner will not come to your house for dinner or go camping with you.

We are supposed to hire a manager to run our affairs of state. You cannot learn that skill overnight. That is why we should only consider people with management experience, both private and state business.

It may be a good idea to make this an amendment to our Constitution.

To secure our country’s future, let us use our heads in the voting booth and leave our likes and dislikes at home. Vote for what is best for our entire country.

Our children’s future is more important than political slogans and phony promises.

We need detailed proposals for action and how to finance them without increasing the debt. Candidates who can’t do that are not qualified for this job.

M. Kirschner,

Pembroke Pines
