Recently, a group of polluter-friendly lawmakers filed a “friend of the court” brief against America’s Clean Power Plan, which sets the first-ever federal limits on carbon pollution from power plants. By doing so, they demonstrated just how out of touch they are with both science and public opinion when it comes to climate change and air pollution.
These lawmakers aren’t just doing their best to halt the EPA’s lifesaving limits on carbon pollution, they are also working against the wishes of families from across the country who strongly support America’s Clean Power Plan.
While polluters spend millions of dollars to keep profiting from dirty energy, moms in Florida say, Enough!
We urge Gov. Scott to do the right thing for Florida and move forward with a Florida plan to reduce carbon pollution, protect public health and build a clean-energy economy.
