Scott’s at fault
Florida Surgeon General John should not be blamed for what he didn’t do because his budget is limited. Sen. Garrett Richter apparently said Dr. Armstrong’s not being confirm by the state Senate is not a politically motivated attack on Gov. Rick Scott.
The problems alluded to the Herald’s article and editorial are political and can be traced back to Scott because he approved the budget and prevented the expansion of Medicaid. Therefore, the blame should be put where it belongs — on Scott, not Armstrong.
