Decoupling the parimutuel industry from casino gaming is long overdue. Dog racing is legalized animal cruelty and young people are more in touch with animal welfare issues.

They are designed solely to keep greyhound racing practitioners and breeders afloat with absolutely no regard for the animals’ welfare. State regulators should keep the slot machines and table games where they are, but close the dog tracks.
