No new courthouse
Let’s see, $350 million for a new courthouse that isn’t needed and one that taxpayers voted against funding, but it’s nonetheless wanted by certain county officials and judges who want their own personal courtrooms that will be empty 90 percent of the time.
Where have I seen this scenario before? Oh, yes, the Marlins stadium monstrosity that was clearly not needed, was built despite the taxpayers wishes, but wanted by the Marlins owners and certain county officials. It also remains empty 90 percent of time! Déjà vu!
