Obama’s policies

Leonard Pitts’ Feb. 17 column, Don't blame Obama for gridlock, uses racism as an excuse for President Obama’s gridlock in Washington.

It isn’t racism, it’s his policies of moving our government too far to the left that has most Americans upset.

The increased government power and involvement has prolonged the recession, damaged the economy, raised taxes, worsened availability and quality of healthcare, and even affected religion, morality and public safety. His foreign policy of leading from behind has weakened our allies in the Middle East, strengthened terrorists, kept Syria’s Bashar Assad in power, and has given Iran billions to fund terrorists.
