New World grads
Interesting article by reporter Jordan Levin about Alvin Ailey Dance Theater Artistic Director Robert Battle. She mentioned that he was inspired by seeing an Ailey performance at Miami Northwestern Senior High School.
Levin went on to discuss shared backgrounds of Battle and Ailey dancer Jamar Roberts, but neglected to mention that both men graduated from New World School of the Arts.
