Clinton FBI probe
Hillary Clinton dismisses the FBI’s probe into her email as a “security review.” But the bureau confirms it’s an investigation.
What’s in play is whether Clinton exposed national secrets by using unsecured transmission devices exclusively while secretary of state, unlawfully stored secret materials on an unsecured server and gave unauthorized access to that server to private parties just to wipe it clean of the duplicates of her official communications.
The bureau may also be probing perjury in her sworn statements to Congress, obstruction of justice in not producing requested documents and public corruption and bribery if quid pro quo deals between her State Department and Clinton Foundation donors or speech fees can be established from the salvaged secret server she deep-sixed.
What the FBI concludes determines whether she campaigns for the presidency or a pardon.
