Rude legislators

After driving hundreds of miles to Tallahassee, Florida horsemen, who had registered to be allowed to speak for three minutes to representatives considering a decoupling bill that would put them and thousands of other Floridians out of work, were rudely dismissed by Rep. Jose Diaz.

This insult was then compounded when Rep. Halsey Beshears spoke. After he admitted that he did not know much about the industry, he advised the horsemen to “find a new business.” We think Reps. Beshears and Diaz should find a new business, as they are dismal failures at representing the people of Florida.
