Rubio’s troubling values

By accusing President Obama of intentionally trying to change America, Marco Rubio has potentially made the most odious statement in this already overblown election cycle. Exactly what is he suggesting?

What is the president trying to do? Preserve religious freedom for all people? Allow all individuals to live their personal lives within the law as they choose without harassment? Is he trying to help all residents to live a full life without the fear of being killed by a bullet? Assure that everyone receive equal treatment under the law and a full day’s pay for a full day’s work? Help families remain together? Does he want to provide access to education and healthcare that will let people participate in society to the fullest extent of their abilities?

I’d say the president is trying to get the country to live up to its stated values. Does Rubio know what those are?
